So what exactly goes into Karen's Dinosaur Poo?
The bar starts out with a high-protein soynut and almond butter base. The add-ins include walnuts, prunes, pumpkin spice, flax seeds, and whey protein. I was going for something that's high in protein and fiber but lower in sugar.
What does it taste like?
Well, I was imagining the Dinosaur Poo to taste more like a holiday fruitcake (I <3 FRUITCAKE) but in actuality, it tastes more like a hearty mash of roasted soybeans with a hint of sweetness and spice.
Maybe I should soak it in rum.
